Dr. Tammy Evans
Dr. Tammy R. Evans, DVM
Dr. Tammy R. Evans was born in Rockledge , FL and grew up in Titusville , FL. She received her Associates Degree at Brevard Community College in 1995. She then attended Auburn University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1997 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Evans then completed a one year internship in Chesapeake , VA at a private practice. During the internship Dr. Evans focused on internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, emergency medicine, and ultrasound. Upon completing the internship, she worked full time in emergency medicine for three years and did relief work on small animals. Dr. Evans joined Port St . John Veterinary Hospital and Cocoa Veterinary Hospital in June 2007. Her areas of interest include ultrasound and feline medicine.
Dr. Evans lives in Viera , FL with her husband Mark and her wonderful two sons, Lucas and Micah. She also has two cats, one with special needs which she adopted as a stray while working at our practice. Her personal interests include spending time with her family, going to the beach, walking, and visiting the zoo.
