Dog Obedience Training
Instructor Sally Gordon has worked within the animal field for over 13 years. She has taught all breeds and all ages of dogs in basic obedience, rally and agility. She currently has three Austrailian Shepherds that have multiple titles in agility, rally and obedience, along with their Canine Good Citizen title. Sally teaches using positive reinforcements such as treats, toys or clicker training to achieve the desired behavior. When positive reinforcement is used, it's always more rewarding for you and your dog.
Group classes held at Cocoa Veterinary Hospital are 1 hour long for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings. All breed dogs and all ages from 8 weeks and up are welcome. In these classes you will be taught how to properly train your dog to perform basic commands such as sit, down, loose leash walking, come when called, and more.
